Honoring Our Dead

Cultures around the world have incoporated Ancestor veneration in their spiritual practices.  Those who came before us are not just in our flesh and blood but in our spirit and very being.  Wether you know the names and faces of your ancestors or not they affect you and you affect them.  Building a consensual loving and boundaried relationship with your honorable dead helps in a world that often offers no assitance.  Lifting up or letting the proveribial Jesus take the wheel on  the dead that have harmed us or others in some way allows us to be introspective and watch for common threads.
